Allu Aravind files nomination for Ankapalli Lok Sabha seat
PRP general secretary Allu Aravind Monday filed his nomination for Ankapalli Lok Sabha constituency in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Keeping everybody guessing till the last minute, Allu Aravind reached Visakhapatnam from Hyderabad to file his papers on the last day of filing of nominations.
His name was included in the fourth list of candidates released Monday. There was suspense as to which constituency he will contest from. Some party leaders had hinted that he might contest from Visakhapatnam.
Allu Aravind is brother-in-law of actor-turned-politician and Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi. He is considered to be the brain behind Chiranjeevi’s plunge into politics.
Allu Aravind is the only close relative of Chiranjeevi who will be contesting the next month’s elections. The actor’s brothers, actors Pavan Kalyan and Naga Babu are not contesting, while Chiranjeevi will be contesting from Tirupati assembly constituency.
Meanwhile, the party has denied a ticket to veteran actor and former union minister Krishnam Raju, who was expected to be fielded from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency.
Raju had quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to join Chiranjeevi’s party last month and party sources had hinted that he might get the ticket from Visakhapatnam or Narsapuram.
PRP has fielded Srinivas Yadav from Visakhapatnam. The other Lok Sabha candidates in the fourth list are Kasani Gyaneswar (Chevella) and Balraj Goud (Mahabubnagar). Both Gyaneswar and Goud are leaders of Mana Party, which has entered into seat sharing agreement with PRP.
Hi all, I am from Anakapalli and I live in Vizag now, I think now every voter realize about money and caste, people are looking for good man as a leader, so I do not think this caste equation will work properly. Sabbam Hari has very good name in Vizag and also Vizag district rural places, Sabbam Hari has been popular in helping many poor people and people who are in trouble. This is the information I used heard from several friends who live in Vizag and Anakapalli. I hope good man will win the elections and it will prove that voters realization.
Allu aravind already had several allegations on him about taking money seats and corruption, so I do not think about his chances of winning. If Aallu aravind looses it will be strong about people are not sold their votes for money.
I am not favor or fan of any party, I want honest people should win irrespective of party.
I expect, and My opinion, PRP win in the state. The People are wants chance to ” CHANGE ” and ”SOCIAL JUSTICE ” on the support of ”BC,SC,ST and MINORITIES ”. Poor,Middle Class Youth with Ladies and farmers voted.
PRP to be win 200 MLA, 25 MP seats in this election. This is silent revolution.
The opposition politicians, media are bad publicity to prp. But the people are not believe. ”PRP BELIEVE PEOPLE” , ”PEOPLE BELIEVE PRP ”. Sri Allu Arvind (AA) is freedom fighter family. He is founder of the prp. Sri AA, to be MP, is Administrator; Anakapalli Area developed infuture with Ganta
(Ex-MP)/MLA. This is good Combination for the welfare of the poor families. Their symbol is RAIL ENGIN on 16.04.09 Thursday, poor people voted prp.
Wishful Thinking by Kala Venkata Rao.
I am surprised that prp’s morale is so low, that senior party leaders and constestants are posting messages on blogs to keep their morale high

There are only 2 castes ruling the state and have a claim to be CM of AP in present times.
In particular Cine field is dominated by Kammas and Politics is dominated by Reddys.
You have to have unbelievable courage to stand up against a mistake committed by Kammas in Krishna region and Reddys in Rayalaseema region.
More than 90% of reddys vote for congress or a reddy candidate.
More than 90% of the kammas vote for TDP or a kamma candidate.
More than 90% of the reddys are pro sakshi paper and TV channel.
More than 90% of the Kammas are pro Eenadu paper and TV channel.
Do you by any chance see a state wide pattern here…
The circulation of news papers like Eenadu, Sakshi and Andhra Jothi account for more than 75% of the total circulation.
They can take any message as they see it to any corner of the state and only they have the infrastructure and network to do that.
Not all 100% Kammas are rich and not all 100% Reddys are rich.
This is not to say Kammas and Reddys are bad. May be they are hard working compared to others. May be their families are more disciplined compared to others. May be they are more ambitious compared to others. Some or all the above…
But the naked fact that we are talking about just 10% or less of Andhra population.
The total percentage of these 2 castes is well below 10% of the state population according the 2004 Indian population statistics. This fact makes me feel less and little insecure.
No ordinary man can challenge this system.
Chiranjeevi is no ordinary man. He challenged.
If they can keep Chiranjeevi down they can keep the present system of your community leader for 1 or 2 terms followed by my community leader for 1 or 2 terms pattern for a long time.
They may succeed to suppress him but this man won my vote because he tried to change.
