Congress today denied that it was in touch with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s Prajarajyam Party as also Telangana Rashtra Samiti to form the next Government in Andhra Pradesh.

“We will come back to power on our own. We do not need support,” senior party leader M Veerappa Moily told reporters when asked whether it was in touch with the two parties for an alliance.

Moily, in charge of party affairs in the state, claimed that Congress will secure 33 out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state while its tally in the 294-strong Assembly will be between 165 and 170.

“I am not at all in touch with PRP or TRS. I am in touch with our Chief Minister and PCC President,” he added.
